Preferred Guest members, who have American Express cards, can keep their weekends free with the Free Weekends promotion. Beginning May 15 and running through Aug. 31 members who stay five nights at Starwood hotels automatically receive two Free Fridays. Members who stay 10 nights during the same period will automatically receive an additional two free Saturdays, meaning that 10 nights gets members two entire weekends for free. Members must pay for all stays with the American Express card. Free weekends are redeemable at participating hotels from June 2 through Sept. 16. V Australia should be flying by then, making it an even cheaper trip!
